How do I find my ring size?

The most accurate way is to visit a local jeweler and ask them to measure your finger — it’s usually free and takes just a minute. You can also order an inexpensive ring sizer online. Keep in mind that fingers can change size throughout the day and with temperature, so try to measure when your hands are at a normal temperature, not first thing in the morning or after exercise.

Do you offer custom or bespoke work?

Yes — with some intention behind it. I take on custom work when it feels aligned with my aesthetic and fits within my current schedule. I’m not able to make just anything, but if you have something in mind that feels like it belongs in the KDK world, I’d love to hear about it. Reach out by email to start the conversation, and we’ll go from there.

Can I provide my own stone?

How long will it take to receive my order?

Do you offer resizing?

Do you ship internationally?

How do I care for my jewelry?

Possibly — it really depends on the stone and the project. Send me an email with what you have in mind and we can discuss whether it’s a good fit.

If a piece is in stock and ready to ship, I’ll send it out within 3 business days. For made-to-order pieces, the expected timeline will be noted in the listing. If you need something by a specific date, reach out before purchasing and I’ll let you know if it’s possible.

Yes! Almost everything I make can be resized. If you see a piece you love but need it in a different size, get in touch before purchasing and we’ll figure it out. If a specific piece can’t be resized, I can likely create something very similar in your size.

Yes — I ship worldwide. International orders may incur additional shipping costs, which will be reflected at checkout or communicated directly.

Good question — and an important one. Here’s what I recommend:

When to remove your jewelry: Take pieces off before cleaning, doing household chores, gardening, exercising, or soaking in hot tubs or hot springs. Heat, chemicals, and impact are the main things to avoid.

Silver and brass: Both will tarnish over time — how quickly depends on your body chemistry, environment, and how often you wear the piece. Every order that includes silver jewelry comes with a polishing cloth, which is great for regular upkeep. For deeper cleaning, a gentle jewelry cleaner works well — but if your piece has intentional oxidation (that darker, antiqued look), avoid dip-style tarnish removers, as they’ll strip that finish. When in doubt, reach out and I’ll advise on your specific piece.

Stone care: Not all stones are created equal. Harder stones like sapphire, garnet, and tourmaline are more resilient for everyday wear. Softer stones like opal and turquoise scratch and chip more easily and are better suited for occasional wear, especially in rings. I always recommend looking up the hardness of the stone in your piece and wearing accordingly.

Prongs: If your piece has prong settings, have them checked by a jeweler every 6 months to a year to make sure they’re in good shape and your stone is secure.

General: Store pieces separately to avoid scratching, and get your jewelry professionally cleaned from time to time. Metal does wear with use — that’s natural — and most things can be repaired if needed. I’m always happy to take a look at a piece I’ve made.
